Koei Tecmo America presented a new gameplay trailer for Attack on Titan 3 on Sunday. The publisher is positioning the title as the conclusion of its action game series, with Koei Tecmo Games saying it will adapt the Attack on Titan story from the Survey Corps' early days through to the finale.

According to Koei Tecmo Games, players will be able to fight the Nine Titans for the first time and will encounter new story content that expands on the characters and lore. The game is set to cover the anime's full narrative, and MAPPA is producing an opening sequence that will be added in a later update.

Attack on Titan 3 will support Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German and Spanish text, with Japanese audio. It is scheduled to launch on December 10 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

A Digital Deluxe Edition will include a digital artbook, three costumes, seven creator parts and additional in-game items. A SteelBook with ICONART is also planned.

The release follows Attack on Titan 2, which Koei Tecmo Games and Omega Force shipped for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in North America and Europe in March 2018, and for PS4, PlayStation Vita, Switch and PC in Japan the same month. Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle launched for PS4 and Switch in Japan in July 2019, then arrived in the West for PS4, Switch, Xbox One and PC one day later. The smartphone game Attack on Titan: Brave Order ended service on September 28 after launching on iOS and Android in February 2022.
