Beau Knapp is set to join the second season of CBS’s ‘Marshals’ as Eric, a leader of a farming cult suspected of running a large counterfeit-alcohol operation. His new role has similarities to Cole Dunmire, the character he played in the third season of Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Tulsa King.’ TVLine reported that Knapp will appear on ‘Marshals’ starting November 22.

Eric is described as a manipulative, intensely calm leader who exploits vulnerable people. In ‘Tulsa King,’ Cole was the son of Jeremiah Dunmire and became involved in a bourbon dispute with Dwight Manfredi’s crew. His actions included stealing Dwight’s prized bourbon and helping expose his father’s plans before switching sides.

Both characters are connected to alcohol operations and use a tough persona to protect their interests. Knapp’s casting also brings him back together with Judd Lormand, his former ‘SEAL Team’ co-star. Lormand is set to play a Homeland Security Investigations officer in ‘Marshals’; the showrunner, Spencer Hudnut, also worked on ‘SEAL Team.’

Jeremiah died at the end of ‘Tulsa King’ Season 3, while Cole survived after turning against his father. Whether Knapp will return for the show’s fourth season remains unclear. The article notes that Cole’s future in the series has not been confirmed.
