Idea Factory International announced that Compile Heart’s Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited will launch in the West in 2027. The game is the first mainline entry in the series in more than 10 years and is planned for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.
Physical editions are planned for PS5, PS4 and Switch 2 in North America, while Europe will receive a physical PS5 edition. A limited edition is also planned.
The game’s story begins after a “first meteorite” signals the end of the world. Neptune finds herself alone in a white space and activates “Retry,” beginning again and meeting new allies and enemies. Together, they face a series of challenges as they fight toward the “true end.”
Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited launched in Japan on August 27 for Switch 2, Switch, PS5 and PS4. Its Japanese release included physical and digital editions, as well as a Galaxy Edition and a digital deluxe edition. The PS4 version was released digitally only.
