Makana Watari’s manga adaptation of Yuuri Seo’s light novel series “I’m Running for Crown Princess, but All I Want Is a Steady Paycheck!” has ended. Watari launched the manga on Kadokawa’s B’s-LOG COMIC platform in 2019.

The story follows Therese, the daughter of an impoverished marquis who enters a contest to become a royal consort after learning that the position could lead to a well-paid lady-in-waiting job. The competition proves more cut-throat than she expected.

Kadokawa released the manga’s eighth compiled volume on January 30. Seven Seas Entertainment, which publishes both the novels and manga in English, released the manga’s fourth English-language volume on September 8.

Seo first published the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2016, concluding it in July 2019. Kadokawa released two light novel volumes illustrated by Okaya in 2019. Seven Seas is set to publish the first light novel volume in English on Thursday.
