Jun Kirarazaka has confirmed via X (formerly Twitter) that their manga series Blobtopia, also known as Buyotopia, will conclude in just three chapters. The announcement was made on Friday, with the upcoming chapter scheduled for November 6 designated as a side story rather than part of the main narrative finale.

The series premiered on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital service on March 13. Since its launch, the story has progressed quickly enough to warrant the release of a second compiled book volume, which Shueisha shipped on September 4. MANGA Plus handles the English publication of the title, describing the plot as an over-the-top comedy about a former hero named Beyond who, unable to defeat the Demon King, accidentally flooded the world with blobs. Burdened by guilt, Beyond isolated himself for years until a turning point finally arrives.

This marks another completed project for Kirarazaka, who previously launched the Bone Collection manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in April 2020 and concluded it that August. A one-shot with the same name had appeared in the magazine in August 2019. Both Viz Media and MANGA Plus published Bone Collection digitally in English. More recently, Kirarazaka's Do Retry manga debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2023 and ended in September of that same year, also receiving digital English releases from both publishers.
