Kaeruno Erefante launched AV Danyū Hajimemashita Reiwa-hen, a sequel to Manga Diary of a Male Porn Star, on Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website on October 30. The new series is set in Japan’s Reiwa era.
The story follows Kaeru, now in his forties, divorced and still single. He juggles work as a company employee, a porn actor and a manga artist while trying to manage all three jobs.
Erefante began the original manga, AV Danyū Hajimemashita, on Kurage Bunch in January 2020. It concluded with its 12th collected volume, which shipped on October 8. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the series for release under its Ghost Ship imprint and published its fifth volume in March 2024.
Erefante, a pseudonym, has described the original manga as being based on his experiences as a male porn actor in more than 250 adult videos.
