The story climax of Shō Aimoto’s Kemono Jihen manga is “imminent,” according to the December issue of Shueisha’s Jump SQ. magazine. The series will conclude with its 26th compiled volume, as announced in the 25th volume, which shipped on August 4.
Aimoto began publishing Kemono Jihen in Jump SQ. in December 2016. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English and released its 22nd volume on October 6.
The series follows Inugami, a Tokyo detective who investigates occult cases. A call to a remote village brings him to Dorotabo, a boy connected to a string of attacks on local livestock and to supernatural creatures hidden in the world.
Kemono Jihen inspired a television anime that premiered in January 2021.
