A new novel in the Trigun franchise, titled Trigun Manuscript, is scheduled for release this winter. The announcement appeared in the autumn issue of Shueisha’s Jump SQ. RISE magazine.
The novel is a collaboration between Trigun creator Yasuhiro Nightow and Takehiko Oxi, who wrote Trigun Stampede. Its story will draw on the worlds of the Trigun Stampede and Trigun Stargaze anime.
Trigun Stargaze premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliated channels on January 10. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, including an English dub. The anime is the previously announced final phase of Trigun Stampede and takes place two and a half years after that series ends.
Trigun Stampede debuted in Japan in January 2023 and is also available to stream on Crunchyroll with an English dub.
