Blastoise and Mega Lucario Z are set to feature in new Pokémon Trading Card Game releases in 2027. A Blastoise card has been revealed in Chinese as part of the Aura Seeker set, with its English release planned for February 5 under the name Flowing Fists.
The card is a Stage 2 Pokémon with 170 HP. Its Torrential Pump Ability boosts the damage dealt to an opponent’s Benched Pokémon by attacks from the player’s Water Pokémon by 30, and does not stack. Its Heavy Splash attack deals 140 damage.
A separate Aura Seeker Bonus Set is planned for Hong Kong and Taiwan. It will include alternate-art reprints of Blastoise and Mega Lucario Z ex. The report also notes speculation that Mega Lucario Z ex could appear as a Spring tin promo in the United States, while the reprinted Blastoise may be among the Flowing Fists prerelease promos; neither possibility has been confirmed.
The regional Aura Seeker releases will also include a 10-Pack Plus Set featuring stamped reprints, including Bellsprout, Treecko and Grovyle. The report says the latter two have not received new cards since 2018. An earlier Squirtle card reveal is also described as accidental, with the card reportedly intended for a McDonald’s set next year.
