Collectors of My Dress-Up Darling merchandise now have the option of bringing Marin Kitagawa home at full human scale. Japan-based manufacturer Prime1 Studio, known for premium statues and figurines, has opened preorders for a 1/1 scale replica of the character, priced at US$7,999.
The figure stands 164cm, or roughly 5.4 feet, and weighs about 80 pounds. According to Prime1 Studio, it ranks among the company's most ambitious projects to date, and prototype photographs have been published on its official site.
The design draws primarily on CloverWorks' television adaptation of the series. Prime1 Studio describes the head as carefully crafted to capture Marin's distinctive look, citing sculpting and paintwork intended to reproduce the liveliness of her animated counterpart — including highlighted eyes, defined facial contours and long hair given a sense of natural flow.
The replica ships with two swappable outfits: her standard high school uniform of a white shirt, black tie and light blue plaid skirt, and a two-piece flower-patterned swimsuit. Two detachable arms are also included, one posed making a peace sign and an "open hand" version that allows her to recreate a theatrical gesture seen in the anime and the manga. Both hands feature nails finished with glittery polish, and the set adds black and silver hoop-style bracelets that can be worn on either arm.
Shinichi Fukuda's original manga, a slice-of-life comedy, ran in Young Gangan from January 2018 to March 2025. It follows Wakana Gojo, a high school student who aspires to become a master artisan of Japanese Hina dolls and keeps that passion hidden after being judged for it, until class idol Marin Kitagawa notices his work and asks him to make a cosplay outfit for a favourite video game character. The anime adaptation aired between January 2022 and September 2025, and Kyodo TV produced a live-action drama that aired in Japan from October to December 2024. The anime streams on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and the manga is published in English by Square Enix Manga & Books.
Because the statue is still listed as being in development, Prime1 Studio gives an expected shipping window of March 2028 to June 2028.
