Ruz USA has introduced a new range of holiday merchandise based on Rankin/Bass’ Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, giving fans several ways to bring characters from the TV special into their seasonal decorations and collections.

The lineup features plush dolls of Rudolph and Clarice, along with Bumble, Hermey, Dolly, Charlie-in-the-Box, the Spotted Elephant and Santa Claus. Smaller clip-on versions of Rudolph and Clarice are also available, as are Rudolph and Bumble headbands.

Collectors can add Rudolph, Clarice and Bumble ornaments to a Christmas tree or other display. The release expands Ruz USA’s licensed holiday offerings, which include a Peanuts collection unveiled in October featuring Snoopy plushes, a Christmas train set and a sculpt of the tree from A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Rankin/Bass Productions released its stop-motion Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer special in 1964. The studio went on to make other holiday specials, including The Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town. It also produced series such as ThunderCats and SilverHawks before closing in 2001.
