Marvel Studios has reportedly cast Connor Storrie in a villainous role in its upcoming Ghost Rider reboot, but the studio has not announced his involvement. Ryan Gosling is the only confirmed cast member in the material provided, with the actor set to play Johnny Blaze, the Spirit of Vengeance. Shawn Levy is attached to direct the film.

Storrie is best known for playing Ilya Rozanov in the sports romance series Heated Rivalry. His other credits include April X, For All Mankind and Joker: Folie à Deux. The report considers six possible Marvel characters for him, ranging from supernatural adversaries to another Ghost Rider.

One possibility is Blackheart, the demonic son of Mephisto and a recurring Ghost Rider foe. The character can take a human form, and the report argues that Storrie’s controlled intensity and charisma could suit that portrayal. Blackheart’s story in the comics also connects him to Billy and Tommy Maximoff and to Ghost Rider.

Daimon Hellstrom is another suggested fit. The son of a demon and a human, he first appeared in Ghost Rider #1 in 1973 and has been portrayed as a complex antihero. Tom Austen previously played Hellstrom in Hulu’s Helstrom series. The article suggests Storrie could bring a different take to the character and create a morally complicated foil for Gosling’s Johnny Blaze.

The list also includes Blackout, a sadistic supernatural villain associated with Lilith and the Lilin in Marvel Comics. He has fought Danny Ketch’s Ghost Rider and the Midnight Sons. If the reboot introduces that team, the character could potentially connect Ghost Rider to other supernatural figures in the Marvel universe.

Zarathos is also raised as a possibility. In the comics, the demon bonds with Johnny Blaze and is central to the struggle over control of Ghost Rider. The report notes that the role would call for a performer able to shift between an unsettling stillness and more volatile intensity.

A more unexpected suggestion is Nightcrawler. Though generally depicted as a hero in previous live-action appearances, Kurt Wagner is the son of Mystique and Azazel. The article proposes that the MCU could present him as an antagonist, drawing on the character’s supernatural associations and contrasting powers.

Finally, Storrie could play Danny Ketch, another character to take on the Ghost Rider mantle. Gosling is expected to portray Johnny Blaze, but the report suggests the film could feature more than one version of the Spirit of Vengeance. Ketch’s debut in the comics came in Ghost Rider (Vol. 3) #1 in 1990. No role for Storrie has been confirmed.
