A new tabletop roleplaying game set in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld is on the way. Adventures in Lancre and Überwald has raised six times its crowdfunding goal and is due to be released in 2027. Preorders are available through Gamefound, with several purchasing options offered.
The adventure takes players to Lancre, Überwald and the Chalk, where they can encounter new monsters and missions. It is designed for one Gamemaster and between one and six players.
The game centres on player-driven storytelling. Players create characters and select traits, then use those traits to support their characters’ actions. The Gamemaster can call for dice rolls to determine the outcome.
The new release adds to a growing range of Discworld games and adaptations. Earlier tabletop titles mentioned include Kill Sam Vimes and Discworld: Readers Digested, while the shared-universe graphic novels have included Thief of Time, The Wee Free Men and Monstrous Regiment.
