The second season of The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World has announced five new cast members, who will appear from its fifth episode, scheduled to air on Thursday.
Yūki Wakai voices Cathy Alferius, Toshiyuki Morikawa plays Abel Alferius, Tetsu Inada voices Cyril Alferius, and Daiki Hamano plays Lard Alferius. Riona Imaizumi joins the cast as Mia. The character name romanizations have not been confirmed.
The season’s returning cast includes Junya Enoki as Ray White, Iori Saeki as Amelia Ros, Akira Sekine as Ariane Olgren, Azumi Waki as Rebecca Bradley and Kaede Hondo as Clarisse Cleveland. Other returning performers include Yūichirō Umehara, Kōhei Amasaki, Atsumi Tanezaki, Sōichirō Hoshi and Haruka Shiraishi.
Previously announced additions include Hana Hishikawa as Olivia Arnold, Ryōhei Kimura as Julius Orphe, Aoi Koga as Bianca Miller, Konomi Kohara as Emma Clarke, Shiki Aoki as Maria Bradley and Kazuyuki Okitsu as Marius Basset. Miyu Kubota voices Elisa Griffith, replacing Nana Harumura, who retired from voice acting in January for health reasons.
Masahiro Takata returns to direct the season, oversee and write the series scripts, and serve as sound director. Zero-G is handling animation, taking over from first-season studio Cloud Hearts. Sizuk performs the opening theme, “Diamond Dust,” while Maaya Uchida performs the ending theme, “Compression :[.”
The season premiered on TBS on October 8 and began airing on BS11 the following day. Crunchyroll streams the anime as it airs.
