The Neighborhood is coming to Netflix in its entirety on November 5. The CBS sitcom concluded its eight-season run earlier this year, after airing more than 150 episodes.
Created by Jim Reynolds, the series premiered in 2018 and starred Cedric the Entertainer as Calvin Butler and Max Greenfield as Dave Johnson. The story begins when Dave and his family move from the Midwest to a predominantly Black neighborhood in Los Angeles, becoming neighbors with Calvin, who is unaccustomed to Dave’s Midwestern hospitality.
The sitcom follows the two families’ daily lives and misadventures, including Calvin’s work running an auto repair shop, Calvin’s Pit Stop. The cast also included Tichina Arnold, Beth Behrs, Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears, Hank Greenspan and Skye Townsend.
The Neighborhood is currently available in full on Paramount+. Selected seasons can also be streamed on Tubi, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel and Philo. Netflix will add all eight seasons on November 5.
