Mckenna Grace says she currently avoids roles involving nudity or what she describes as “very hypersexual things.” In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the actor explained that such scenes feel frightening to her, though she emphasized that she does not judge colleagues who take them on.
Grace said her long-term ambition is to play a Disney princess, and she worries that appearing nude could make that less likely. She added that her preference for avoiding sexual material does not mean she only accepts wholesome parts: her character is killed by Ghostface in Scream.
Known for roles in horror films including Scream 7, Slanted and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Grace has also appeared in Annabelle Comes Home, Malignant and two Ghostbusters films.
Her upcoming projects include playing Daphne Blake in Netflix’s live-action Scooby-Doo: Origins, a prequel series scheduled for 2027. Grace is also among the cast of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, which is due in theaters on November 20, 2026.
