Seraph of The End: Vampire Reign will conclude in the next issue of Shueisha’s Jump SQ. magazine, scheduled for December 4. The announcement appeared in the magazine’s December issue on Wednesday.

The manga, created by Takaya Kagami and Yamato Yamamoto with Daisuke Furuya handling storyboards, began serialization in Jump SQ. in 2012. It was previously announced that the series would end with its 37th compiled volume. Shueisha released volume 36 on May 1.

Viz Media publishes the series in print and digitally in North America, and is set to release volume 35 on November 10. Viz Media and MANGA Plus also make new chapters available digitally as they are released in Japan.

The story is set in a world where an unknown virus has killed nearly all of humanity, leaving children who are then enslaved by vampires. Its central character, Yūichirō Hyakuya, hopes to become powerful enough to kill the vampires.

The manga has inspired two 12-episode anime seasons, as well as a musical adaptation. Kagami also wrote the prequel novel series Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen, which received a manga adaptation illustrated by Yo Asami. Its 12th and final volume was released in February 2022. Kagami later launched the sequel novel series Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Resurrection at Nineteen in 2017, with illustrations by Asami.
