The new trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 has renewed enthusiasm among fans, who have described themselves as “emotionally invested” in the Disney+ series. The trailer also suggests that the stakes will be higher than ever for Walker Scobell’s Percy Jackson.
The upcoming season will be the first screen adaptation of The Titan’s Curse, the third Percy Jackson novel by Rick Riordan. In the story, Percy and his friends undertake a dangerous quest to rescue Annabeth and the Greek goddess Artemis after both are kidnapped by Atlas and Kronos’ army.
The first two episodes of Season 3 are scheduled to debut on Disney+ on November 20. The remaining six episodes will be released weekly in two-episode batches through December 11.
The series is led by showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz, with writing credits listed for Joe Tracz and Andrew Miller.
