Sakamoto Holidays, the spinoff manga of Yuuto Suzuki’s Sakamoto Days, is approaching its climax. Tetsu Ōkawa reported the development on Saturday; no further details about the ending were provided.

The series launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2024. It follows former assassin Taro Sakamoto as he runs a neighborhood store and takes on local problems, aiming to make the shopping arcade a safer place for his family and community.

Shueisha shipped the manga’s fourth compiled volume on August 4, while Viz Media shipped its second English-language volume on August 18. Viz describes the story as a comedy about Sakamoto solving neighborhood crimes.

The original Sakamoto Days manga is also heading toward its climax. Suzuki launched the series in Weekly Shonen Jump in November 2020, and Shueisha published its 29th compiled volume on November 4.
